| it's been nearly two months since i last update. my bad. anyways, the monitor board just had our annual lunch this afternoon. it's like a simple lunch where every monitor shows gratitude to our form teachers and some forms need to perform too. us j3 monitors decided to sing a song and also dance. we kinda practiced 7 times for this dance. its quite a simple, silly and funny one. to be honest, i had a great tiem learning and performing this dance. too bad my form teacher didnt make it since she must be preparing for her wedding tomorrow. she just missed a golden chance to see us dance. well, there's this time where i saw one of my monitor friend talking to her form teacher. i don know if it's my fault or its the teacher's fault, but i have never connect with my teahcer up til this very moment. it's been three years and i've never had a connection with her. i envy my friend there. on the other hand, we j3 monitors were very happy cuz everyone enjoyed it. even after the whole lunch we still danced two encores for fun. getting a few other forms' monitors to join us. and also we took some pictures for remembrance. this is one of the best thing that happen in the monitor board in this three years im a monitor. the bond between all 16 of us j3 monitors are real close. we've been to burger king, pizza hut, canteen to have lunch beofre practicing these few times and we chat, talk, laughed, played and most importantly have so much fun together. so many things had happen. this year has been a blast! im gonna enter a new class, a new form with a new pack of friends next year. i really cant bare to leave my class now but it cannot be helped. and us j3 monitors aint gonna be together anymore. some might be prefects, some might still be monitors, and some of us might even be average ordinary students only. what's gonna happen? | | |
| last saturday (15/9), we had a day off since there's gonna be an entrance exam going on in skul. so my family decided to go on a 3 days 2 nights trip to sandakan. so on saturday, we packed our stuffs and left. there were 2 cars on the go. one is my parents driving and another is my uncle n aunty. we stopped by at Ranau for breakfast and continued on after to sandakan. it took us approximately 6 hours to reach there. long trip indeed. we reached labuk bay and had lunch there. then after watched the proboscis monkeys, also known to hv the largest nose in Borneo! we departed and continued down to the hotel. we stayed at Hotel Tyng Garden. nice place, big rooms. had dinner at 8 and went back to get some rest. second day, we had breakfast and toured around the town. went to 7-Heaven desert parlour in Bandar Indah to have deserts! it was awesome. to those who get a chance to go to sandakan in the future, u better go try 7-heaven! then went to sepilok to look at orang utans. went back to the hotel to get some rest then after. packed our swim suits and went to Sandakan Golf Club [SGC] to swim. lastly, we had dinner at Pasir Putih Seafood Restaurant. the lobster was awesome! me and my aunt went back to 7-heaven and have MORE deserts at 10.30pm. *crazy, i know* third day, we leave for kk right after having breakfast. stopped by at Ranau to get some lunch. we manage to go to Poring Hot Springs too. i soaked in the hot springs with a few of my cousins for an hour something. then we left and headed back home. it was a simple but awesome trip! had loads of fun. at night, i rush to mrs hiew tuition... haha! remarkable day! so my parents promised on bringing our family and some relatives, frens to padas for water rafting. and now they last minute cancel it jus because PMR is here. crap man! so dissapointing!  broken promises... so hate exams! so UEC mock is in 4 days! PMR in ONE week! UEC ONE month. gosh..... | | |
| so i haven't been updating for quite some time. nothin much has been happening lately. well, exams are drawing near. in two weeks time and we're gonna have UEC mock, n there comes the real PMR and the following week UEC. stress.. stress...stress.... been having lots of tests. really making me feel like giving up n not wanting to study. gosh! so tis sunday (9/9/2007) my school is gonna have a Bazaar and Exhibition Day. my class has a stall up for selling too. we're gonna sell some home made food like pudding, jelly, etc... the monitors also needed to be on duty tat day so i'll be busy the whole day looking after stalls.. splendid! and after the bazaar day i might go over to radiance'se hse  there'll be no school on saturday because they are gonna make preparations for the upcomign bazaar day. and me and my classmates will be busy making the stuffs we're gonna sell. yipee.. sounds like fun to me.. n a whole day of laughter  that's all thats happening.. hoping that exams will be over and the holidays to come. then i can play all day long! | | |
| oops, it looks like i left out abt my bday the last entry n brigitte requested it. so i'll rewrite it agen. sorry.... so some sunday which is 5th August was my bday. hmm.. recalling....... i woke up in the morning, went for badminton training from 10-12pm. then i had lunch frm 12.30-1.30pm. after that was mrs hiew tuition 2-4pm. and lastly 7-9pm was dinner. yeap, n when there was free time, i had to study khb for the exam the following day. so it was kinda hectic for my bday tis yr. sad.... anyways, back to the present. i've been quite busy this holiday. 18/8 Saturday- i went out for movies with venus, radiance, eddy, jon lim and benjamin. we watched secret byu jay chou. its nice. i lik them playing the piano most, and the pieces they play are really nice. at 6, went to the KAC skating rink to try out with family. it's nice but its not an ICE skating rink.  had dinner then went home. 19/8 Sunday- went to KK Adventure Park with family. had fun! made a few back flips with the bungee trampouline  went to the gym and swam. met audrey and sophia there. we dipped in the pool together n talk abt old times. ahh, were those great, memorable times... thn, i head for dinner at my aunt's fren hse. enjoyed myself thr. only gt bak home at 12!!! man was i sleepy!! 20/8 Monday- went to my "picnic tuition" for mrs hiew. we first had tuition thn ate the food we brought. it was great. mrs hiew brought chicken wings, lasagna n pasta. the food was more than enough n delicious. after lunch, we went down to the beach and play. we catch crabs, took some photos n fooled ard at the beach. w\thn me, jamie and audrey had MANGO MADNESS at san fransisco b4 we left to take our stufs n met up with sophia in sgcc. we had somethin to snack on n went to swim. man was it great! 21/8 Tuesday- me, ah han, susan, david and venus went to radiance's hse to do projects. din do much, had loads of fun n gossipped.. david also visited my hse for a while. well, i owed him. took him for a tour of my hse n now we're even. hehe.. we stopped by citymall to get yogur berry too. yumm....... 22/8 Wedenesday- had tuition in the morning. dreads.. glad tats over. then i did some of my computer project, had a nap n by the time i woke up i gotta get goin to tanjung aru to help out mrs hiew in the orchid show. our job was mainly placing orchids at their spot n helping the judges out. the judges were real slow.we also saw a korean model modelling by the beach. she was HOT! we grabbed a san fransisco each b4 heading off to dinner n continue on with our jobs. i had STRAWBERRY SMOOCH! it was great. dinner made me so bloated. after working, me n j followed audrey's car to foh sang for supper with her family b4 i head to jamie's hse to wait for my car. 23/8 Thursday- had tuition agen. went to sgcc for lunch n walked home. then venus, ah han, radiance n susan came to my hse for projects. there was some progress tis time. n we still did talk n laughed, crack up silly jokes togethr. venus n susan also played metal slug 4 on my bro's ps2 b4 they left n radiance dropped me at sgcc. i went for a swim there n had dinner. then went home. yeap, so tatswhat i've been doing all this while. was quite a busy week. n many more busy days to come.. sigh... wish me luck in finishing the projects... | | |
| so for the past week, we had our exams. yes, the joyous times of a student in skul, so not! i lik my seat this time. i got to sit at the corner bak n the 3 person beside me happens to b smart, funny and good frens + allies of mine. the 3 person are carmen loong, jeat n claudius. within the week we ahd times were we fooled ard a lot, even in the exams. u will nv know how it feels lik unless u r actually there. so here r the top few bloopers tat happen within the whole week: Saturday 4/8 - there's tis once, on our 1st day of exam, chinese history, claudius stand up n stapled some paper which was hanging on the softboard. he literally stand up, turn ard with a stapler in his hands n go lik "tak, tak ,tak". it was so funny tat nearly the whole class was looking at him n laughed. us 3 at the abk laughed the hardest, it was seriously a hilarious scene. Monday 6/8 - yes, its monday n its khb exam tat day. we had lik 27 over chapters to study n i did the last minute studies lik always n in the end well, din finish. n b4 the exam, we few were at the bak row, revising while cracking stupid questions which elads into stupid jokes. i mean seriously, we got few up of the book after lookng at 27 over chapters. n b4 the exam we 4 promised or to say made a deal tat if din know an answer to any of the questions, we wud do statistics. n find the mode(the thing whihc appeared the most) answer of tat question. so exams started, papers were passed down n there were corrections to b made. n we actually did started discussing the asnwers. n i think the teacher noticed us doing tat n whn the corrections were finsihed she kept a really really close eye on us. n we were lik, shucks! now we cant go accordingt o our plan. but eventually, we did the exam. its objective, worst comes to worst, we cud jus guess an answer! Tuesday 7/8 - English. yes the best subject ever where u don nid to study or worry. the stupidest thing a teacher cud ever do is to make questions out of a book which we have in our hands as workbook. seriously, whoever came up with the paper is SMART! way smart. Wednesday 8/8 - maths. another subject where there is nothign to read abt but exercises to do. eventually i jus came to skul. play n also revise maths with evryone else. it was a day of pure excitement, fun n worries. Thursday 9/8 - science! oh gosh. tis is anotehr subejct where we had to revise 27 chapters! so i studied the nite b4 n eventually slept when i was only revising up til chp 9. thn i reach skul n continued my not yet finsih revision. n when i reached skul i started complainign to jeat *the person sitting nxt bside me* i was lik "man i nid ur help! im onli up to chp 9! lets work together, u study form 3 chapters n i work on form 2, n later u let me see n i let u see" so we actually kept to our deal. i finsihed form 2 chapters b4 the exam starts n he did on form3 chapters, but not all. but in the end, we finsihed the exam by ourselves. without help! n tat was paper 1. thn paper 2, i continued on the remaining few chapters n was in a hurry. who knows time was up n we had to put our bags. i havent tidy my stuff into my bag n jeat was waiting for me cuz we had another bargain where one help put the bags out n one help get the bags in before n after the exam. n we were lik the last ones putting our bags cuz i was slow n he was waiting. n the teacher noticed. thn whn we got our papers, i was lik mumbling cuz it was a hard one. i din knew how to do. n maybe jeat was either mumbling or lookin at me, the teacher notice n went lik " wat kind of relationship do u guys have? firstly, u help her get her bag out. n now u guys r talking?!" n i was lik omg, we did not talk n the taking bag thing was lik a bargain. its literally work! well, embarassing... totally! Friday 10/8 - leonard;s bday! greeted the guy. n continue on with geo. there were 47 chp to read n was onli in chp 2. n agen me n jeat agreed on sutdying different chpters n helping each other but later on did the whole exam by oursleves! Saturday 11/8 - last day of exams! hurray! sejarah.. anotehr 20 chps n by thn i only covered 9 chps. jeat covered 4 chps but we did the same thing so itrs pointless. but we din manage to study all n b4 the exam we were revising a lil to remind each otehr abt some important points n theres this part where he goes lik "we r gonna b test on tha tchapter?" n i was lik "yeah" n he was lik "oh.. *with a im so doom look*. yes in the end we yet agen, did the whole paper ourselves. it amuses me that throughout the whole exam, we few promised on helping each other n in the end doin it by ourslef. the lttle deal was jus lik an encouragement, secure for us tat if we reli needed help, there's always someone to ask. haha! n after exams, i went out with some classmates to watch rush hour 3. but i din watch it cuz i had tuition n there werent any suitable show times. so in the end i went to tuiton while they had a splendid day out. | | |
